New L.A. Clippers Name

With Donald Sterling’s ownership nearing its end, what about the future of the L.A. Clippers? Richard Parsons is taking over the day to day management as the CEO of the Clippers. Which would be a difficult undertaking with out all of the scandal and now includes  the Franchise being in limbo with no official ownership.  Hopefully soon a sale will be completed and the ownership can start over brand new.  ESPN has reported that Yao Ming is putting an investment team to make a run at buying the team. How to Be an Excellent Dining Companion

I’ve followed the TV shows of Anthony Bourdain over the years.  No Reservations, The Layover, and Part’s Unknown. I enjoy that he can visit with the fine dining and the local favorites without looking down his nose at them. He tells it like it is.  He’s been around the world and if you pay attention you can get a few nuggets of wisdom once in a while.

Who would you cast as Samus Aran?

All these space movies and we still haven’t seen the power suit compact into the Morph ball on the big screen? An IO9 article earlier this year made a good point. Hollywood is full of parity. When something makes money everybody gets started on their rendition of that genre. We’ve been through vampires, zombies, apocalyptic, there’s even a recent surge of biblical movies. It would be nothing to bring space movies into the fray. 

everybody’s dying to see whether Marvel’s huge, ambitious bet [Guardians of the Galaxy] pays off. And if it does, here are a dozen other space heroes who could rock their own movies.

One of the Properties that was listed was Metroid Prime. If you are old enough to have played the original Nintendo then you remember how big of a fixture that it was for the console. The bad ass character jumped into the air doing flips and shooting missiles from one arm of the power suit shooting intergalactic creatures. *1986-SPOILER* Only to find out upon completing the game that you were playing with a female character all along.  Continue reading →
