ComingSoon.net is reporting that Warner Bros. is interested in rebooting Scooby-Doo. I loved the cartoons back in the days. I really can’t tell you why. They were pretty funny.

Having said that. I’m not interested in another live action Scooby-Doo. Unless, What you say? Oh I’m glad you asked. Jeff Zoet has already done the leg work here [click through for the entire photo-set].  He captured imagery of what he calls. Scooby-Doo vs the Zombie Apocalypse. This is low hanging fruit here. With The Walking Dead’s popularity the zombies and apocalypse themed content is at an all time high.  Gives the show a lil edge and you can still work some comedy into it. Scooby-Doo always had a scary element to it. This would just be taking it one step further.

Warner Bros need to go ahead and make this happen.  Zombie Apocalypse meets the Mystery Inc  Its not as if weirder stuff hasn’t already happened to them. Nix the talking for Scooby-Doo  just make him extremely intelligent and responsive to verbal commands. It’ll be a light-hearted view on what The Walking Dead has already layed out on AMC.  And if  Warner Bros bails out and isn’t interested then let’s get a Kickstarter to produce theses. I’d support 8 min episodic web-series of 12-15 episodes or just let em all loose on NETFLIX.  This idea has potential.
