It seems that the intended use is for emerging markets. But think about it. At a price of less than $30 and standby time of 35 days. This could be a super backup phone. Just drop that bad boy in the glove compartment. If your other phone goes dead swap those sim cards and you’ve got action while your primary phone charges. Under $30 is cheaper than a second battery.  I’m sure the 2G data will scare some folks away.
