Its been said by Birthmoviesdeath.com that Marvel hasn’t figured out what to do with Iron Fist. Well I’d like to see him in Luke Cage so they need to hurry up.

Admittedly the Iron Fist wasn’t a character I read a lot growing up. I’m still learning the mythology behind him.  What are the High points that Marvel must hit to bring him into the street-level Netflix Marvel Universe?

• First He has to be named Danny Rand
• Gotta be Partners with Luke Cage
• must be a martial artist
• Must possess the ability to summon his “chi” into his fists
• Studies under Lei Kung the thunderer
• Acquisition of powers involves the hidden city of K’un L’un
• team up with Daughters of the Dragon [Colleen Wing & Misty Knight]

The part that interests me is training. Hopefully it adds up to more than just a 2 min montage. There is an opportunity here to reach back to another martial artist who’s body has glow. In 1985 Taimak starred as young man in search of the ‘Master” to learn the final level known as the glow. It would be a huge nod to include Taimak if even for just a moment.  Maybe he isn’t Lei Kung but he could be another master in the vacinity that gets to show off those powers.
