Wesley Wants to Bring back the daywalker [Deal Breakers for Blade 4]

So you want another Blade Trilogy. Face it , if they can make 4 Expendable moves they can make a few more Blades.  If they do. Theres a few things that have to be done.

  1. This is a Horror Film – Don’t try to dress it up as Superman. Its not going to be as grounded as the Netflix MCU. This is mystical stuff here. Vampires are front and center. Guillermo Del Toro got it right with Blade II. He embraced the creature aspect and created tension in moments.
  2. Joint Universe – I know we haven’t really broached the mystical yet in the MCU. But Dr. Strange is coming. How about that one for a crossover?   “When there’s something Strange in the neighborhood! Who ya gonna call?”
  3. Non Vamp Villain – We’ve had the modern we’ll be day walker in 1, then the royal family genetically modified in 2 and the original prehistoric vamp in 3. Since we’ve killed off vamps for the most part in 3 lets have Blade face some other mystical beings. You could go Underworld and have him face werewolves or how bout he goes Van Helsing and just hunts all the mystical beings.
  4. Comfortable in his skin – Blade has to finally accept what he is. There’s power in that. Remember Bruce’s line in Avengers? “That’s my secret. I’m always angry” by accepting his anger and allowing it to flow he was able to control when he turned. While we’re talking Avengers how about the night and day difference between Cap in the first Avenger and the opening scene on the boat in The Winter Soldier. His skillset was drastically improved. Blade must harness the thirst and hunger and strength that he gets from blood in the next one.
  5. Team player – Much is made out of Blade being a lone wolf and reluctantly working with others to achieve his goals.  Have him appear with his own A-Team. A group that is hand picked by him that he trusts.
  6. Pass The Torch –  Consider Blade 4 “The Force Awakens” of the Blade films. We want to see Luke [Blade] but we have to find out what the next generation are going to be doing. Because Luke isn’t going to live forever.
